I was waiting to meet this adorable little girl for quite some time!

Her Mama contacted me over 5 months prior to her due date to book their Newborn Session, so when Sophia finally arrived I was so excited. And I was more than prepared to set up for their In-Home Newborn Session in their Charlotte apartment. I unpacked up supplies into my travel wagon and rode the elevator to their beautiful apartment. Since they booked a Gold Newborn Collection, I brought all my props, fabrics, accessories, and beanbag to set up. It definitely took more than one trip. And I definitely took over their home for the day, but they didn’t mind, because the images I captured were priceless!

During our Newborn Session, Baby Sophia made my job extra easy by not having any potty “accidents” on my backdrops the whole time. Even though I’m always totally prepared for that, I get excited when I can capture a whole series with no potty breaks! She was just as sweet as could be, perfect in all ways, and had the most beautiful set of hair. I captured all the studio shots I was hoping for and even managed one of the whole family including fur-siblings, which isn’t always easy. I hope this isn’t the last I see of Sophia!
