The Services
It is best to start booking photography for your little one in the second trimester of your pregnancy to ensure I can fit you in my schedule. I only take a limited amount of Newborns each month so I have the flexibility to schedule Newborn Sessions for everyone that has booked since we all know how unpredictable baby’s arrivals can be! That also gives us plenty of time to schedule Maternity photos if you choose to add that to your Package.
I always reach out about two weeks prior to your due date if I haven’t heard from you to start communication and see how things are going as you near the arrival of your newest family member! From there I just ask to be notified as soon as baby has arrived so I can look at my schedule and offer as many available options as possible.
Since most Newborn Sessions are ideally scheduled within the first two weeks of arriving home with your little one, there is a small window for those perfect newborn photos. Not to say I won’t be able to capture the same photos with a baby 3 or 4 weeks old, but the session may take a little longer. And as you will find out, if you don’t know already, your little one will change so much in just a few weeks time! So capture those tiny, fresh, perfect little details while you can!

My Maternity Sessions can be done in studio or outdoors on location depending on the Collection you pick. I even have an antique clawfoot tub for milk bath maternity sessions!
All my Collections include the use of my client closet of maternity gowns. We usually can capture at least two outfit changes during our session. I love working with families of all ages, and also love to spend time focusing on each mama themselves.
I always suggest maternity sessions ideally between 28-34 weeks but always make sure you schedule in advance to get on my calendar! Don't forget to add on a Newborn Collection for a discount!

My Newborn Sessions are typically done at my studio in Indian Trail, however I do offer Lifestyle and in-home studio sessions for those that prefer. I offer three different Collections I offer (Petite, Signature, and Luxe). With each collection, I capture those beautiful wrapped and posed baby portraits in a variety of sets that I customize for each session depending on each clients preferences.
I included everything for each session including all the outfits, wraps, props, backgrounds, accessories, etc. I make sure to invest in quality items that will fit these tiny little humans and photograph beautiful for life long memories. These sessions are ideally scheduled within a week or two after returning home with your little one.
I offer discounted rates for any additional packages if you book multiple Collections with me - like a Grow with Me Plan including Milestones and a One Year Cake Smash!

Milestone & Cake Smashes
My Milestone and Cake Smash Sessions are typically done at my studio in the Matthews/Indian Trail area. The first year of your baby's life will go entirely too fast. What better way to preserve that time by capturing Milestone Sessions along the way.
Most common Milestones are Smiles/Eye Contact (3-4MO), Sitting (6-7MO), Standing (9-10MO), and One Year (birthday cake!)! Cake Smashes are so much fun and such a great way to capture and preserve a child’s First Birthday.
I create custom themed sets fine-tuned to your vision for your little one to create an unforgettable experience. Don't miss out on capturing this precious time in your little ones life!

Awhile ago, someone mentioned Kira on a Facebook group. Back then, I had no kids and wasn’t really planning on it, but I checked out her Instagram page and instantly fell in love. I knew that if one day I had a little one Kira would be the photographer for the Smash the Cake session!
Fast forward, I just got my baby’s smash the cake pictures back and can’t even express how happy I am on how perfect they turned out!

Kira is an amazing photographer who really pays attention to details! She was so easy to work with before our cake smash session and getting scheduled was a breeze. She was very flexible with our schedule. The different packages to pick from were great. I loved how easy she made it for us.
