Little Raylan was one of the most patient little babies I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. He was defiant on going to sleep when I first started our session – wide-eyed and so very focused on what was going on. For such a fresh little guy, I felt like he was judging my every move… I think he approved eventually, because it didn’t take that long for him to relaxed and finally drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

Even though he didn’t want to go to sleep at first, he never once fussed! He let me wrap him and unwrap him, and move him from here to there, and just stayed as happy as could be. I hope for first-time parents Cassie and Tobe that it was just a glimpse into the easy-going kid he’s going to grow up to be. It was such a fun, laid back session and we captured some beautiful photographs. I always feel like I won some sort of prize when everything just goes that smooth!
