This may have been one of my most successful Cake Smashes so far! Raylan’s Newborn Photography Session was one of the first I did at the start of 2018, and his Mom and Dad brought him back for his One Year Cake Smash. It’s amazing to see these little ones change in their first year and Raylan’s personality was certainly showing. Since they live so close to me, they came to my home studio in Matthews, North Carolina just outside of Charlotte. I had everything set up for their Cake Smash when they arrived! They wanted to add on a quick family session prior to and even thought it was mid-December, we managed to sneak outside and capture just a few shots in the woods out back before it started to drizzle. Then we came inside for the big event! And Raylan did not disappoint once he got those hands on that cake. He totally went to TOWN on that cake, and the green frosting just made it all that more awesome. He looked like Baby Hulk by the end of it! I swear he would have eaten the whole cake if we didn’t take it from him, he was enjoying it so much. And I was enjoying capturing it all! Take a look at these awesome photos below.
