Beautiful Phoebe was my first Newborn of 2019 and my first Newborn that I had also photographed their older sibling’s Newborn photos here in Charlotte, North Carolina! Since I’ve been solely focusing on photographing Newborn and Babies for only about 3 years now, I haven’t had too many clients that have had more than one baby to photograph. But with Phoebe and her big brother, Anderson, being only 18 months apart, it’s no wonder that they were my first!
Now I first met Phoebe and Anderson’s Dad, Andy, from my yoga classes. He was my favorite instructor back then! When Andy and Kelsey found out they were expecting their first baby, Andy reached out to me to see if I’d photograph their sweet boy when he arrived, which I eagerly accepted. Unfortunately for me, he had to step down from teaching yoga when his son was born, but I was lucky enough that not too long after that Kelsey, Anderson’s Mom, took over the same class! So Kelsey and I got to know each other even more during her class every week, and when she told me she was expecting again I was so excited for them! And when she asked me to capture Phoebe’s Newborn photos I was even more excited!
A lot has changed with my business in a year a half since we last worked together, not only my skills and workflow that have grown so much since Anderson’s first Newborn Photos back in 2017, but also my collection of props, accessories and gear that I bring to each in-home Newborn Session as well as the structure of my pricing and packages to reflect my growth. It means a lot to me when clients come back from the very beginning, even though all the changes to my Newborn Photography and how I run my Business.
Phoebe was just as sweet as her big brother and I love the photos I captured of this adorable girl during her Newborn Session.
