This cute little family is just picture perfect! When Melanie reached out looking for a Newborn photographer, I got extra excited when she wanted to book a Belly to Baby Package, including a Maternity Session. I love getting to opportunity to shoot a Maternity Session before a Newborn Session, because it is such a great way to meet each other. And they were such a easy-going, fun family to photograph! Just like when you hire a wedding photographer, you often get an engagement session included. That way you have the ability to casually get to know one another, while capture fantastic photos. So when it’s time for the BIG day, you don’t feel like your strangers for such an important event. It’s pretty much the same for Newborns 🙂

The O’Dell family chose a beautiful park that I’ve been wanting to check out for a long time. Since I had never been there before, I arrived early to find the best spot to capture our mini session. Little did we know there was a kids nature scavenger hunt going on that day, but that didn’t slow us down! The sun was shining and the leaves were still full of color; I could not be happier with the photos I captured of this perfect little family. And I am so excited to meet their new little girl who’s due in a week!
