I love when I spend the afternoon with a family and their positivity and love for each other is so contagious, it makes it easy to capture beautiful moments… And wouldn’t you know I was so close to catching a proposal during our session! Unfortunately, the timing just wasn’t right for Dave to pop the question when we were together, but Dave and Leah got engaged that very weekend!

I originally met these folks a few months ago when little Cassidy arrived in this world to complete their family. When I came to capture Cassidy’s Newborn Session, her older brother and sister were off at school, so my main focus was, of course, precious Cassidy.  Now she is two months old and the holidays are right around the corner, Leah reached out asking if I would capture some family photos of everyone this fall!

I had so much fun getting to know Luke and River this time around. These two kiddos first off have the most perfect smiles! Then to top it off, were both such great sports about having there photos taken; they happily listened to all my crazy requests. Both Luke and River had plenty of energy, as most kids do, which I just love to photograph. Little Miss Cassidy, although maybe not quite as energetic, was such a trooper. She put up with us dragging her around the park on this breezy, fall day. And even though it was hard to get her to crack a smile, she didn’t complain once! During our session at one of my favorite local parks, we were able to explore, get silly, and still harness in all that energy to capture some awesome photos. What do you think? 🙂
