Lucille, “Lucy”,  was my second to last Charlotte Newborn Session in 2018, and she definitely wins the award for the Best Newborn Smile I’ve captured to date! And would you believe it was the LAST shot I photographed of her Newborn Session too… obviously she was just as pleased with her Newborn Photographer as I was. But even before she gave me the best smile, her Newborn Session went so smooth!

Since Lucy had an older brother, Theo, who was not yet 3 years old, we captured Family shots first so we could let him off the hook the rest of my time there. I remember scouting their home and coming across their beautiful, classic guest room and thought “If I could create a bedroom in my ‘one-day studio’, this is how it would look!” I was so excited to capture their family photos in that room and everyone was so amazing. Theo was excellent, Mom and Dad were all smiles, and Lucy was as peaceful as could be. And she stayed just as happy during all my prop setups, saving the best for last! Also, can I just add how I love using greens and blues with girls!
