Sinking into a milk bath seems like the perfect way to end a maternity session! This trend has taken off on social media and it’s quickly become a favorite of mine to photograph – the resulting photos speak for themselves! Getting to customize backdrops of greenery and different color schemes of flowers against the milky bath makes each session unique while letting mama shine!

I was so excited when I scored this antique clawfoot tub for sale and while I had no idea what exactly I was going to do with it at that moment, I knew it was going to be amazing! My first milk bath was down in my wooded backyard but soon discovered a way to bring it to my studio and create a unique garden for each session!

You’d never know but it was COLD out during our session. Mama was a real trooper powering through the breezy chill as the warm water started to cool down as the session progressed. I love being able to have warm or cold water options for in the tub depending on the time of year 🙂

Before every milk bath Session with me, I always do a mini studio maternity session to capture some more classic, simpe maternity poses along with the special, unique maternity milk bath poses.
