I was not the one originally scheduled to be Baby Graham’s first photographer… but when another local photographer reached out asking for helping covering a newborn session (since the dreaded Flu had hit her home), I was more than happy to help. It wasn’t long ago that I had to do the same thing because of a illness and am lucky enough to be part of an awesome local community of photographers around Charlotte that help each other out. So Kelly Bain of Kelly Bain Photography & Blog connected Rachel (Graham’s Mama) and myself to organize everything for our last minute session-switch!

I love capturing the love and joy that surrounded these precious new baby. Graham created parents out of Rachel and Brandan when he was born, and they stepped into these roles beautifully. It was such an easy, relaxing session and Baby Graham was so happy and chill. Rachel wanted more of a Lifestyle Newborn session, so we focused a mainly on capturing all that natural beauty. And I still brought of few of my little props and accessories to play around a little. I just love all the photos that came out of this amazing session.
