What’s better than one teeny fresh, bundle of joy… TWO teeny fresh bundles of joy! TWINS!!

Carmen reach out one Sunday afternoon, searching for a Newborn Photographer for her twin girls that were born just 9 days before, and within 48 hours I was at their house photographing their beautiful family! I can’t always make these last minute sessions work, but I always try my hardest, because I know how difficult it is to get everything planned and organized before these little ones arrive. And this time everything worked out perfectly! I was able to call upon another local Photographer friend, Lindsay Lay of LL Photo, to help assist me. I always need an extra hand when dealing with two babies and it’s always better if those hands are used to handling these teeny tiny babies! And she was able to capture some awesome behind the scenes photos of me “doing my thing” during this session. (Check out the photos at the end!)

Working with two babies takes much more time than working with one, obviously. But Elise and Layla were so good for our whole session. They let me move and wrap and snuggle them up without stirring. I absolutely love getting to pose Newborn Twins together, because since they are so used to be all intertwined to one another inside their Mama’s belly, they have no problem getting all close and snuggling for our photos. And of course, we had an encouraging audience with Big Sister, Reagan, watching our every move, waiting for her moment to shine.  Then when her moment came, she really did shine! She was so perfect, calm, and gentle when it came time for her to hold her two little sisters. You could just tell she was so happy and proud. I just loved every moment of this session!
