Back when I was in college at Appalachian State studying to get my degree in Photography, Jessica moved in my apartment complex right next door to me. That was over 7 years ago! Jessica and I have maintain our friendship throughout all these years, and I’ve watched her turn into the most amazing mom to her sweet little girl, Analee. When Jessica told me she was pregnant with baby #2, I was so happy for their growing family. And even more excited when she asked if I would take her Maternity AND Newborn Photos!
Of course, when the day arrived that we had planned for me to drive up to capture Maternity photos in mid-November, it was a frigid, windy, snow-flurry day in Boone! If Analee wasn’t involved in the photo session, we may have decided to suck it up and shoot through it. But with a three year old in tow, I really did not want to make the trip and have unhappy, freezing cold faces for every shot. So we decide to re-schedule and cross our fingers… when it came time, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! It was still a little chilly, after all it was November in Boone, but sunny and warm enough to capture stunning photos of this beautiful family before they welcomed there second little girl to the family!
