This little girl I had been waiting to meet for quite some time! I knew she was coming almost 8 months prior to her arrival in this world. Jessica, her mama, was a friend from my college days up at Appalachian State University, and over the years since I graduated we have still stayed close. I watched her raise her beautiful little girl, Analee, for the past three years and was so thrilled to get to see them welcome another beautiful little girl to their loving family.

Ashlyn was born over New Years Eve weekend and less than two weeks later, I made the trip up to Boone to capture her big debut! Since I was driving up for the day, half for personal visits and half for profession photography, we were a little more lax about the timing and schedule of everything. I was able to get some snuggles in first with little Miss Ashlyn, and catch up with Jessica and Analee. Then when I felt she was ready, I got to work! I absolutely love the images we captured during this session and the beautiful family in the photos as well. Unfortunately, Jessica says this will be their last Newborn Session for the family… but you never know 😉
