Some newborns sleep like a dream, and some newborns make me earn it. As much as I love when my job is easy… I always walk away feeling more connected with a little one when they make me work for it. Probably because when a baby is fussy I have to take the time to get a feel for their likes and dislikes, as well as snuggle them a little extra. You’d think being a Newborn Photographer I would get plenty of time with these itty bitty babies, but in reality when they are good and sleepy, I just set them up and get right to work.

Now, little Miss Cassidy had another thing on her mind. She seemed to think me arriving meant she would never get to eat again! At first all she wanted was “mamas milk” – which means between the milk breaks and soothing throughout the session, I was able to get some extra snuggles and love on this little girl. Eventually, she put herself into a good “milk coma” and in the end, as always, we were able to capture amazing shots. I love them all; hope you do too!
